Operator Passwords: Select this option to turn operator
passwords on or off on a global basis. i.e. If you wish to use
Operator Passwords, this option must be turned on .
Auto Log Off: When ON, will log off the operator if the machine
has not been used for ‘x’ minutes (where ‘x’ is the timeout
setting).
When OFF, the machine will not automatically log off the
operator.
Setup Operators
Once the operator function has been enabled as described on the
previous page, you can control the set up of the operators as follows:
1. Press
Options .
2. Select “Setup".
3. Page down and select “Operator Setup”.
4. Type in the supervisor password.
You will now be offered the following functions:
1. Create operator
2. View/Edit operator
3. Delete operator
4. Operators Off/On*
5. Operator Password Off/On *
6. Auto Log Off *
* These options globally control operator functions and are
described on the previous page.
5. Choose the option you want, and follow the on screen
instructions. When done, press Home to exit .
Any changes you make will take effect the next time you or another
operator logs onto the system. At that time, the system will require a
valid operator ID and password to log on.
An operator can log off from the mailing system by simply pressing
the Lock button located to the left of the display. The system will
then require the next operator to log on with their ID and password.
Additionally, you can also set the machine to Auto Log Off, which will
operate should the operator walk away from the machine without
logging off.
