Configuring Operators
Enabling Operators
Follow the steps here to set up your mailing system so that you can
assign operators with an ID and 4-digit alphanumeric password.
1. Press
Options .
2. Select “Setup".
3. Page down and select “Operator Setup”.
a . If a supervisor password has not been created, the screen
will prompt you to create one now.
or
b . If a supervisor password is active, the screen will prompt you
to enter the password now.
4. Select “OK", then select “Create Operator".
5. Type in the operator name and select “OK" to continue.
6. Type in the operator password and select “OK". Then confirm it
and select “OK" again.
7. The screen will now show the following operator information that
you can change:
Name: Select this option to edit an operator’s name.
Status: Select this to toggle an operator active or inactive.
Password: Select this option to toggle between enabling and
disabling the operator password for this operator. You can also
use this option to edit the password.
Level: Select this option to change the access level for this
operator.
Report Printing: Select this option to toggle between enabling/
disabling report printing for this operator.
When finished, select “Continue" to save.
8 . The screen will now revert to the Setup Operators menu.
Within this screen are three options which globally control the
Operator function and the use of Operator Passwords:
Operators: Select this option to turn the entire operator log
in function on or off. i.e. If you wish to use Operator log in, this
option must be turned on .
