To select the character to join multiple barcode scans:
1. Press
Options .
2. Select “Setup".
3. Page down and select “Configure USB Scanner”.
4. At the USB Barcode Scanner Settings menu, select
“Concatenate cbar.”.
5. A list of possible “join character” options is displayed. Select the
character you use to combine the barcode values (the default
join character is +).
6. As soon as you make your selection, the USB Barcode Scanner
Setttings menu reappears. You can make other selections or
press C (clear) to return to the Setup menu.
The following is an example using a + symbol as a join character.

*ACCOUNT*
When you scan in these 3 barcodes, the system will combine them
into a single barcode value.
NOTE: When creating your own barcodes, create them in upper
case. If you create them in lower case, the length of the barcode will
be twice that of the same barcode created using upper case text.
