4.10 LANDING

CAUTION:

Landings should be made with full flaps and airbrakes fixed in ½

extended position. Glideslope should be controlled with throttle. Landings

with less than full flaps are recommended in crosswinds or if the flaps fail to

deploy, or to extend the aircraft’s glide distance due to engine malfunction.

Normal Landing

Normal landings are made with full flaps and airbrakes fixed in ½ extended

position with power on or idle. Surface winds and air turbulence are usually

the primary factors in determining the most comfortable approach speeds

(60 - 65 KIAS).
