Replace the PLC reserve battery. The life
of the reserve battery in ideal conditions
is 7 years.
In case of a converter or motor failure,
the converter will detect the following
faults. When the converter detects a fault,
the digital operator of the converter will
display the code of the fault and the con-
verter will switch off, which will cause
the motor to run down and stop. To reset the fault after restarting the con-
verter, press the STOP/RESET push-button on the digital operator of the
converter. The most frequent cause of an overload is the high descending
speed of the saw blade into the cutting position, a blunt or incorrectly selec-
ted saw blade.
The saw blade has broken or it is insuffi-
ciently tightened. Replace or tighten the
saw blade. Make sure that both saw blade
guards are closed.
The pressure switch is not on. Adjust the
pressure switch on the hydraulic set.
Arranged between the conductors con-
nected to the pressure switch is a screw
sealed with red paint. When the screw is
turned clockwise, it increases the pressu-
re at which the switch switches on. Check of correct function of the swit-
ch in manual mode:
If the vice is not chucked, the saw blade cannot be started. Chuck the vice
and start the saw blade; then release the vice the saw blade must stop.

If the machine is not live and the saw
blade arm is adjusted by the operator or
moves spontaneously while the saw
blade is unbraked, the value displayed
will not correspond to the actual value.
Setting band saw blade height (in auto-
matic mode only)
Using the F3 and F6 keys, select the
workpiece profile to be cut. Enter the
workpiece height in the T value. The
band saw blade will automatically

Setting
Here it is possible to choose language
and select during the saw blade start
the following functions with the corre-
sponding key: start the chip removal
conveyor (if provided on the machine),
removal of chips with a brush from the
saw blade and cooling. If cooling is not selected and the machine is provi-
ded with mist spraying equipment, oil mist production will be automati-
cally started with the saw blade start. Displayed at the bottom are operating
hours.
The main setting (SETTING DISPLAY) will be displayed via the F1 key.
Description of basic setting:
Saw blade speed (enlargement F2 SAW BLADE SPEED DISPLAY)
Angle of saw blade arm position (enlargement F3 - ANGLE DISPLAY)
Saw blade arm height, T= displays the set height (edit height by F4 SAW
BLADE ARM HEIGHT). Bar graph displays the immediate saw blade arm
position. T/Qty displays the time that was necessary for cutting the last
piece in auto mode. Displayed at the bottom is the total time of all cycles
completed. To be cleared with the F5 key. Beside, the number of pieces cut
in the auto mode is displayed. To be cleared with the F6 key.

Adjust the angle by adjusting the saw blade arm in perpendicular position
and confirm with F4 or adjust the saw blade arm to 60° and press the F5
key.

position of the switch for automatic ascent of the band saw blade to upper
position - it must be in position 1, not in position 0. Re-establishing the
option of workpiece height editing via F5 key.
Leave the band saw blade in the lower position before switching off the
machine!
If the band saw blade is left in a different position, it may change
its position for example at night due to leaky hydraulic elements. If this
occurs, set the band saw blade to the lower position so that the BP2 limit
switch of the band saw blade lower position is closed and depress the F2
key.
