Appendix 4: Enhanced security special functions

From the

File

menu, the user can select the

Archive old results

command. The command

launches a dialogue where the user can enter the date. Only results that are as old as or older
than the selected date are archived.

The

Archive

button launches the

Archive

dialogue (similar to the

Save As

dialogue) where

the user can enter the path of the archive directory. The

Save

command archives results and

deletes the archived results from the database.

Security Settings

Note: “Security Settings” appears only when the enhanced security mode is installed.
Security is enabled only for users who belong to the Administrators user group.

During the enhanced security set up, an internal Wallac 1420 application account is created.
The Wallac 1420 Administrator can change the application account password by means of
the Wallac 1420 Security Settings dialogue.
