Fine Tuning the Display for best performance
If you do not hear a beep soon after touching the display or have a lower connection score than
typical, follow these fine tuning recommendations. Displays larger than 70 inches may be
especially sensitive to these settings. Some displays may be sensitive as well. If fine tuning is
required, follow these steps:
Adjust the phase settings
Note:
Phase settings are mostly applicable to large display sizes (70 inches to 100 inches in
diagonal length)
-
on the
pen
, press the
menu
Button
and select SETTINGS / SCREEN SIZE / ADJ PHASE.
This displays a special “adjust phase” image
-
on the projector or display, adjust its phase until faint shimmering horizontal lines are
minimized. This may also be called “Tune” or “Fine Tune”
-
on the projector or display, adjust its horizontal size until no vertical bars are visible. This
may also be called “Sync,” “Tracking,” “Coarse” or “Clock”
-
on the
pen
, press the
menu
Button
and select SETTINGS / SCREEN SIZE / AUTO to exit the
“adjust phase” image
Note:
when some display devices are powered off, the phase setting is reset to factory default,
so this adjustment may need to be repeated each time you power on your equipment.
Fine tune the focus
Note:
Focus adjustments are only applicable to projectors
-
on the
pen
, press the
menu
Button
and select SETTINGS / SCREEN SIZE / ADJ FOCUS.
This displays a special “adjust focus” image
-
on the projector, adjust its focus until the center of the displayed image is perfectly sharp
