The on-site pressure pipe is connected to the HEBEFIX PLUS
discharge branch with the arched discharge elbow. The maxi-
mum capacity specified by the manufacturer (see Technical
data) must not be exceeded. Any deviations from this will im-
pair the pumping performance.
The configuration of the swing-type check valve supplied (1¼”,
DN 32) in the pressure pipe must be as shown. The free space
over the HEBEFIX PLUS is required for removing the pump for
maintenance or in the event of a fault.
The pressure pipe must be laid without a gradient. If a gradient
to the hand-over point is unavoidable, however, then a wider
pipe with larger dimensions must be fitted after the highest
point. This avoids a siphon which could result in malfunctions.
Instructions for tank ventilation
Tank ventilation is essential for the proper functioning of the
system. Before use, the protective foil on the small active car-
bon filter must be removed and the ventilation inserted inside
the lid.
If fitted in a system duct then ventilation must be through the
roof or into the room. The ventilation pipe prevents damp air
from the tank from escaping into the HEBEFIX PLUS installa-
tion space and mould and damage developing there unnoticed
due to damp.
A DN 50 HT pipe to be provided on site must be connected on
the right-hand or left-hand side, depending upon the pressure
pipe.
The supply package includes a round active carbon filter which
minimises odours emitted into the room during ventilation.
Maintenance and replacement work must be carried out from
the outside through the ventilation grille.
NOTICE!
Before inserting a new active carbon filter, remove
the protective foil first.
NOTICE!
The ventilation in the lid must be sealed off with the
plug before installation in a system duct.
MOUNTING
The inlet pipes, pressure pipe with the swing-type check valve
and the ventilation are all mounted in the prepared installation
space for the system.
The pipe connections for the sanitary items to be discharged,
such as shower, washbasin or household washing machine,
must be opened with a hole saw and then deburred.
NOTICE!
The cut out disc from the outlet openings must not be
left in the tank.
Note.
To discharge the accumulated wastewater in the tank
easily in an emergency, a piece of garden hose can be attached
to the lower right-hand side of the tank. To do so, drill out the
ø13 pipe connection at the bottom of the tank with a twist drill
(max. ø 9). Push the hose up and secure it with a hose clamp
