Record activation into the certification and Engine log book.
Perform the control and cleaning of filter elements of Oil filter 490131.01, Filter and Servo Block 490740.01,
Return Fuel filter LUN 7616-8 and magnetic plugs in oil drain and in the oil tank after a performed first of the
airplane flight-test.
Note: - The permissible maximum in-operation impurity of working liquids for devices of the APU Fuel-
Oil System is in Class 6 according to NAS 1638 standard.
- In case of failure of the LUN 1326.03-8 speed transmitter and its replacement, it is necessary to be
careful, so that the air-gap (slot) between the transmitter and the pinion was 0,15 – 0,3 mm.
Perform the clearance adjustment by adjusting shims, which are delivered in the replacement parts
set 1:10. (see article 4.8.11)
4.4.2.
Instructions for Oil Replacement
If APU has been tested in the manufacturing plant e.g.: with MOBIL JET OIL II oil (stated in the Engine log
book), it is necessary to adhere to the following conditions, when changing the type of oil used to another type:
Oils listed in this Manual are permissible as replacement. Other replacements must be agreed on with the
Manufacturer.
Oils of different types must not be mixed.
The oil used must be thoroughly drained from all devices of the APU Oil System, including APU and the
interconnecting piping. Clean out the oil tank, inclusive the filter and the 490131.01 Oil filter element
according to instructions of Articles 4.8.6 and 4.8.7.
Fill the oil tank with the new oil up to the "MAX" mark.
Perform cold start of APU and verify the leak-tightness of the Oil System. Fill the oil in the oil tank up to the
"MAX" mark.
Perform APU start to idling and after 2 minutes runing check the leak-tightness of the oil installation. Provide
change the oil again and fill the oil in the oil tank up to the "MAX" mark.
Record the change of oil used into the Engine log book.
