7 • Verifying operation
Verifying routed connection
To verify the operation of the router modules use a PC or terminal at the customer site to ping a PC or termi-
nal attached to the LAN port (Ethernet A) of the Model 3224/6081RC.
For example, if the PC or terminal at the remote site uses IP address 192.168.200.20, enter the following com-
mand at the PC attached to the model 3201:
ping 192.168.200.20
, the remote computer should respond with
a ping reply.
