Verifying operation

Note

At this time, the 6081RC management web server can only be
accessed via Bridge 1 IP addresses 192.168.200.20. It may take a sev-
eral minutes for the card to respond to management commands after
this change.

Verifying operation

Before any testing can be performed verify operation of the DSL, PPP, and bridging modules. To verify the
operation of the 3201 and 3224/6081RC in this application go to the 3224 configuration pages:

To view the G.SHDSL ports on the Model 3224, click on the G.SHDSL link on the Configuration menu
pane. Verify that the DSL port 3 is up and linked to the remote unit.

Click on the PPP link and verify that the PPP channel 3 is up an running

Verifying bridged connection

To verify the bridged connection between the 3224/6081RC and the remote device (3201) use a PC or termi-
nal at the customer site to ping a PC or terminal attached to the LAN port (Ethernet B) of the Model 3224
or 6081RC.
