Examples:
In U phase (90°), if ELEC POS = 20° then ELEC POS OFFSET must be set to 70° to get a value of 90° for ELEC POS.
In U phase (90°), if ELEC POS = -160° then ELEC POS OFFSET must be set to –110° ( +250° ) to get a value of 90° for ELEC POS. 90°
is equivalent to –270°, which explains the value of –110° : -270° = -160° + (-110°).

Verify the correct value of ELEC POS parameter and set POLARISATION = DISABLE, POLAR START = FALSE.
This function could also be used to verify the correct connection of the motor phase (correct succession of the 3 phases) by :
1.
Polarise the motor on the U phase with a low current, typically 20 to 30%, and a ramp value of 1 second.
2.
Change the phase to V, then W, etc. using the MOTOR PHASE parameter and apply torque to the motor:

If the motor is rotating in a clockwise direction, looking to the front shaft of the motor, then the motor phases are connected
correctly. (With the encoder correctly wired, the encoder position will increment when the motor turns in a clockwise way
looking to the front shaft of the motor)
♦
If the motor is rotating in a counter clockwise direction, looking to the front shaft of the motor, two of the motor phases must be
inverted, for example U and V phases.
