If the fault is not eliminated after following these steps, notify the local service
partner immediately.
Aerosol continuously escapes in large
volumes from the opening slots in the
medication reservoir.
Check that the nebuliser handset has been
assembled correctly (see Section "Assem-
bling the nebuliser handset", Chapter PREP-
ARATION FOR INHALATION). Check careful-
ly that both wings of the inspiratory valve are
lying flat and have not been pressed through.
Little or no aerosol
escapes below an
ambient temperature of 10 °C
(see Section "Ambient conditions",
Chapter IMPORTANT INFORMA-
TION).
- The ambient temperature should be at least
10 °C.
- Wait until the device has stabilised at the
lowest ambient temperature.
The medication cap cannot be
removed from the medication reservoir
after the inhalation treatment.
The negative pressure in the aerosol chamber
is too great.
Open the nebuliser handset and hold so that
the aerosol head points upwards. Grasp the
aerosol head by the locking lugs on the side
and raise it gently. Air will flow in, indicated by
a quiet hissing. The cap can now be removed
easily.
