PC Cards
Do not remove a PC Card while your computer is in the standby or hiberna-
tion mode.
When two PC Cards are inserted, perform the following procedure (from
Step
1
to Step
3
for each of the two cards.
Note that the operation of removing the PC Card may not be complete,
depending on the status of the PC Card or device connected to the PC
Card, such as when a SCSI card is used to connect an external hard disk to
the computer. In such cases, turn off the power from [Start]*
menu, then
remove the card.

on the taskbar, select the PC Card, then select [Stop].
