[Serial control]
Selects the RS232-C control terminal.
[SERIAL IN]:
Controls using the SERIAL IN terminal of the
display.
[SLOT]:
Controls via the function board inserted to the
SLOT of this unit.

[Display ID]
Set ID number when controlling the Display with
[Controller ID function] and [Serial ID function].

(Standard value: 0)

[Controller ID function]
Enables/disables the [Controller ID function].
[Off]:
Disables the [Controller ID function]. (Can be
operated as normal remote control.)
[On]:
Enables the [Controller ID function]. Effective on
switching to [On].

To use the [Controller ID function], setting ID numbers
both for the remote control and for the display unit is
required.
For ID number setting for the remote control, see
page 164.

[Serial ID function]
Set to control external control with the PC connected to
SERIAL terminal according to the Display’s ID number.
[Off]:
Disables external control by the ID.
[On]:
Enables the external control by the ID.

[Serial response (Normal)]
Sets whether to send the response command to normal
commands without ID.
[Off]:
Does not respond. (Including the inquiry command)
[On]:
Responds.

[Serial response(ID all)]
Set whether to respond to the command or not, when
serial command of ID number “0” is received.
[Off]:
Does not respond.
[On]:
Responds.

[Serial ID group]
When controlling multiple displays simultaneously via
serial communication, those displays are grouped as
one.

[Serial response(ID group)]
Sets whether to respond to the command or not,
when serial command, which the group is specified, is
received.
[Off]:
Does not respond.
[On]:
Responds.

[Serial daisy chain position]
Sets the first and the last terminals of the daisy chain
connection when serial-controlling this unit by the daisy
chain connection via DIGITAL LINK.
[---]:
When controlling this unit alone with serial control,
or connecting at a position other than the first and
last terminals in a daisy chain
[Top]:
When connecting at the first terminal in a daisy
chain
[End]:
When connecting at the last terminal in a daisy
chain
Information timing
Set up the informing manner for no signal or
temperature rising.
RS-232C controls:
Warning or error message sent from the display
automatically.
LAN controls:
Acquire the warning or error message from the
display.
