Revised April 2000
Master and Slave Settings
Trunk Configuration
Trunk Signaling
Parameter
Number of ISDN Channels
Description
Determines how many ISDN channels are used.
Though each ISDN Interface provides 23 trunk channels, ISDN
trunks do not increase the overall trunk capacity of the DBS. Each
ISDN channel subtracts from the total number of analog trunks
that can be installed. The number of analog trunks that can be used
are always decremented in quantities of 1.
See “Trunk Assignments for Single-Cabinet Systems
”
(page 2-5)
and “Trunk Assignments for Double-Cabinet Systems” (page 2-6)
for possible ISDN and analog trunk channel combinations.
Note:
For changes to this parameter to take effect, the system
must be powered down, then back up again.

Slave cabinet: FF1 9# 4# 5# 1# 2# (0-23)#

must be powered down, then back up again.
