Matching

Finds the location of the image similar to the base
image (template) within the specified area (search area)
Saves two templates and two search areas to detect the
angle formed by a line connected to a detected point
and the X axis (output points on x/y coordinates).
Difference between the saved base angle and the
detected angle is called a correction angle.

Matching (360 degree detection)

Finds the position of the image similar to the saved
base image (template) in a specified area (search area)
by rotating the template up to +/-180°, and outputs the
position (the x and Y coordinates of the output point)

Contour (Matching)

Available only if Camera mode is set to “Frame” mode

Finds the image similar to the base image (template)
within the specified area (search area) by rotating the
template up to +/-180° and detects the position (x/y
coordinates of output point) and the angle of the base
image.

6.17.2 How Checkers Refer to Adjustment Amount

Since multiple Position Adjustment checkers can be set for each product type, the adjustment amount of the
Position Adjustment checker to which each checker refers differs depending on the position adjustment number.
If you choose “01”, the checker refers to the adjustment amount of Position Adjustment checker No. 1

Note:

When any checker refers to the adjustment amount of a Position Adjustment checker, the number of
rotation-adjustment-referred checkers must be lower than the number of the rotation-adjustment-referring
checker. This is because each checker is executed in ascending order and the position adjustment checker of
lager number than the checker holds only the adjustment amount data for the last inspection.

The PV310 features a function that multiple checkers referring to the same Rotation Adjustment can be
moved at a time. Refer to page 204 for further information.
