3.3 Site Survey
The section describes how to perform the site survey by using CSs. This is done by starting up a CS with DIP
switch settings as the following table, and then starting up another CS in the same state to synchronize with
the first CS. During this synchronization, the color of the second CS’s LED changes according to the radio
signal strength level. This can be used as a guide to position the CS.

Setting and Installing a CS Temporarily for Site Survey
Perform the procedure in "Setting and Installing a CS Temporarily" to position the CS at the temporary position.
Testing the Radio Signal Strength
1.
Press and release the RESET switch on the first CS.
The LED will flash red and green alternately.
2.
Move the second CS near the first CS until the LED of the second CS turns green ON.
3.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for all other CSs.

Checking the coverage area by using PS
If necessary, check the coverage area and handover operation by using PS.
