In Playback Mode
The details of [Rec Quality] will be displayed.
During HDMI output, you can record while monitoring motion
pictures on the TV, etc.
•
Refer to
P325
on how to connect with TV by using HDMI micro
cable.
•
The [Rec Quality] setting in the motion picture recording menu
will be applied to screens that are output through the HDMI
connection during recording.
•
If you output an image being played back, it will be output with the [HDMI Mode (Play)] setting
in [TV Connection] in the [Setup] menu.

Limitations on the use of the HDMI output
•
When using the Auto Focus Mode [
] or MF assist, the screen cannot be enlarged in
windowed mode ([PIP]).
•
Ex. Tele Conv. (motion picture) does not work (excluding Creative Motion Picture Mode).
•
[Aspect Ratio] in the [Rec] menu is fixed to [16:9].
•
[Rec Quality] in the [Motion Picture] menu is not available for motion pictures with their size set
to [VGA].
•
[Sound Output] in the [Motion Picture] menu is fixed to [REC SOUND].
•
Electronic sounds and electronic shutter sounds are muted.
