Transfer of external heating requirements (0–10 V) between several HPM controllers
1 Controller 1 (controls the heat pump)
2 Controller 2 (controls the heating circuit or domestic
hot water circuit)
3 Controller 10 (controls the heating circuit or
domestic hot water circuit)
An example of the use of 0-10 V inputs and outputs is the transfer of an external heat demand
between multiple HPM controllers (see illustration above).
If an HPM controller is used for controlling a heat pump, up to 9 other HPM controllers can
be integrated via the 0-10 V inputs/outputs, which are used to control heating and hot water
circuits.
The highest demand (voltage) is used for the control of the heat source (→
HPM Manual
Part 2
).
7.2.4 Outputs
Important notice
If the potential-free relay contacts should switch the same potential as the mains voltage, then
select the following connection types depending on the control mode of the heat pumps:
►
When controlling via communication, clamp
the
control phase L of the
supply voltage
to the input terminals of the potential-free relay contacts
(terminals 2, 6, 10, 14), as long as components are connected to it.
or
►
When controlling via the contact release, clamp
the
external potential
of
the heat pumps to the input terminals of the relay contacts (terminals 2, 6, 10,
14), which have been assigned by the HPMtool.
In this case, the supply voltage of the HPM may
not
be used as voltage supply
for the connected heat pumps!
The potential-free relay outputs can be used to control valves and pumps.
