Compression format display
Indicates the compression format during recording or re-
cording standby.
Indicates the compression format of the current clip during
playback.

Audio level meter display
Indicates the input level during recording or recording
standby and the audio level of the current clip during play-
back.
• When the “OSD GRADE” (

page 108) menu item is set to
“NO LVL METER,” the audio level meter is not displayed.

Indicates the system format of the setup menu during re-
cording or recording standby.

Additional information display
When the “OSD TC SELECT” menu item (

set to other than "T&S&M," a message is displayed when
TEXT MEMO and MARKER are added. Also, “PLAYLIST”
is always displayed when in playlist editing mode and "INT
LOCK" is always displayed when the “INT LOCK MODE”
menu item (
➝
page 115) is enabled.

Battery level indicator
The indicator changes in the order of
as the battery level de-
creases.
When there is no battery power remaining,

(When the AC adaptor is connected,

In a location in which the temperature becomes low or high
or if the battery has not been used for a long time, the bat-
tery level indicator may not be displayed correctly. To dis-
play the battery level correctly, fully charge the battery and
then use up the charge and recharge the battery. (Even if
this operation is performed, the battery level indicator may
not be displayed correctly for a battery that has been used
for a long time in a location in which the temperature be-
comes low or high or a battery that has been changed
many times repeatedly.)
Treat the indication as an estimate as the timing of the bat-
tery level indicator varies depending on the operating con-
ditions.

Network status indicator
Indicates the status of the network function.
• WLAN: Connected to wireless LAN (linked state)
• WLAN
: Not connected to wireless LAN (unlinked state)
• WLAN
: Error with wireless LAN connection
• LAN: Connected to wired LAN (linked state)

Note:

” may indicate that a cable, the USB
modem, or other device is not connected. Check the con-
nection status (cable and USB modem) and signal reception
status.

with connections. Check whether the proper equipment has
been connected and whether the settings have been config-
ured properly.

Rec during upload status display and streaming dis-
tribution status display
Indicates the transfer status of the FTP automatic transfer
(rec during upload) function and the distribution status of
the streaming distribution function.
13.
Recording media display
Among P2 and microP2 memory card slots, displays the
slot that can perform recording and playback operations
set in the menu “REC MEDIA” (
➝
page 98).
Displays when the rec during upload func-
tion is enabled.
The display will flash immediately after the
power is turned on or the P2 card is inserted
and recording is started, and the upload will
not be executed until the recording is
stopped.
Displayed during upload.
Displayed from when transfer error oc-
curred during upload until when the next up-
load starts.
(Flashing)
Flashes while the unit is being connected to
a device which will receive the streaming
video.
(Lit)
Displayed when the unit is connected to a
device receiving the streaming video and
