This is used to set the format of the D connector output and HD/SD-SDI output signals.

AUTO
The signals corresponding to the setting for SYS FORMAT item (Page 76) on the
RECORDING SETUP screen are output.
1080i
720P signals are cross-converted to 1080i signals, and output.
480i
480i format signals are output; 720P/1080i signals are down-converted to 480i
and output.

FREQ is set to 50 Hz)

EDH is superimposed onto the SD-SDI signals.

EDH is not superimposed onto the SD-SDI signals.
SETUP
This is used to adjust the setup level of the video output signals during playback in the
480i format.
• This item is not displayed on the menu when SYSTEM FREQ is set to 50 Hz.

The setup level of the video output signals is set to 0 %.
7.5%A The setup level of the video output signals is set to 7.5 %.
The setup level for component output (D connector), SDI output and 1394 input recording
is set to 0 %.
The HD/SD-SDI output signals comply with the following standards.
HD : SMPTE 292M, 296M, 299M
SD : SMPTE259M-C/272M-A, ITU-R BT. 656-4
The underlined settings are the factory mode settings.
