Orient and insert the replacement FBM’s SSD notch to the base board’s slot guide in a

angle (A), place on top of the base board with the notch on the screw hole (B), then
secure the FBM to the board with a screw you removed in step 2 (C).

Insert the controller back to the enclosure.
Replacing the Host Board
Before replacing the host board to the controller, you must take note of the following
considerations:
•
A controller/host board downtime may occur if you replace a host board for an upgrade.
•
The firmware automatically restores the system to its factory settings when adding or
replacing a host board.
To replace the host board:
1.
Shut your system down, unplug the power cords, then remove the controller. Wait for a
minute for the remaining electric current to dissipate.
