My NASPerform shows up as a Black dot when used with USB.
When used with USB mode you will see a black dot (disconnected from net¬work) in the
system tray as that is an indicator for NDAS (Ethernet) mode.

Why is only one Mac allowed to write to the NASPerform at a time, and all the rest
of computers need to be mounted as Read-Only first?
It is designed to prevent data corruption; we suggest you assign Read/Write only to
single Mac computer which uploads (write) to the NASPerform most often, the rest of
computers can download (Read) only. If other computer needs to upload, please pass
the write access permission manually. Never force to take write access without being
accepted by other computers first.
