8.3. Service programs descriptions
This paragraph provides a brief description of the service programs
(passwords) of the unit.
8.3.1. Accessing the service programs
The following procedure must be followed to access the service program:
1. Power OFF and ON the unit; the system will wait until DSPU board
will answer (about 45 s). Meantime the display will show the HW and
SW release of the keyboard board. Wait until the following message is
displayed:
I M A X T O U C H
R E L E A S E * . * * *
After 3 seconds, the following message will be displayed:
> T E S T <
When this message appears, press the column up and column down
keys simultaneously and hold them pressed. After 3 seconds,
the following message will be displayed

C O N F I G U R A T I O N
The service menu is directly accessed, but some functions are
protected by further password.
2. Using the scroll right and scroll left keys it is possible
to select the service program to be used; the list is as follows:
CONFIGURATION

AXIS ALIGNMENT

CEPH SETTINGS

TROUBLESHOOTING

SYSTEM

BURN IN

SHOW CONFIG

CONFIGURATION

Select the desired Service Program and press key to confirm
the selection; for each selection, different operations are possible.
NOTE:
SYSTEM and BURN-IN operations are used only during factory set-up;
there are special passwords not accessible to Service Engineers. For this
reason, they are not explained on the manual.

