The caster adapter allows you continuous angle adjustment.
First, remove the protective caps (Fig. 66, item B) from the caster adapters.
Next, loosen the two cap screws on the inner side of the frame (Fig. 67, item C),
followed by the cap screw on the outer side (Fig. 66, item D). Place the level from
the tool pouch on the top flat surface of the caster adapter (Fig. 67).
Now using a large screwdriver, rotate the eccentric plate so that the caster
adapter moves into horizontal position. When in this position, first tighten the cap
screw (Fig. 8, item D) followed by the cap screws (Fig. 66, 67, item C).
Ensure all cap screws are firmly re-tightened. The correct torque of the cap
screws (Fig. 60/61, item C) for the Avantgarde T, VR and XXL2 is 2 Nm; for the
Avantgarde Ti8.9 and Ti Ultra with aluminum screws the correct torque is 1 Nm.

Adjusting the Angle of the Footplate Avantgarde
Ti 8.9 and Ti Ultra
Angle adjustable footplates are included as
standard equipment.
Loosen the Allen head screw on the posterior footplate suspension with several
turns (Fig. 62). Adjust the footplate to the desired position and firmly re-tighten the
screw.
To adjust, slide a mm Allen wrench through the side hole in the footrest bar until
the wrench locks into the Allen screw in the footplate. Loosen the screw by several
turns, then sharply tap the end of the Allen wrench, which will disengage the
clamp connection. Adjust the footplate to the desired position and firmly re-tighten
the screw.
