• Confidence: a number between 1 and 10 that indicates how confident the nuclide identification
engine is with its result.
• By pressing DR-MODE you return to DOSE RATE MODE .
• To extend the measurement press CONTINUE . Sometimes, the original measurement time was
simply too short or the source is very weak, so extending the measurement time gives additional
trust in the result.
The EASY-ID MODE features an automatic saving of the spectra and their result. Each spectrum is idetified
by a time stamp (year, month, day, hours(24), minutes, seconds) appended with an index number. The
filename will be shown in the upper line of the screen (Figure
13 , p. 21 ).
You can easily recover your spectra by using the index number. This number makes the spectrum unique
and cannot be changed by the user.
The RADEAGLET always stores two data files in two different formats. For details please see 3.3.6 , p. 28
for more about loading and saving of spectra. For the EASY-ID example in Figure 13 , p. 21 , you will find
two separate files *.spe and *.n42 if you download the data to your computer.
