Rack Precautions
Caution -
Circuit Overloading . Do not overload the power supply circuits. Before connecting
the switch to the supply circuit, review the equipment nameplate power ratings and consider the
effect that circuit overloading might have on overcurrent protection and supply wiring.
Caution -
Reliable Grounding
. Maintain reliable grounding of rackmounted equipment. Give
particular attention to supply connections other than direct connections to the branch circuit (for
example, use of power strips).
