4.13.2 Fine adjustment of the motor speed

The motor speed can be set from the control panel. The speed can be varied from 15 to 225%.

Spindle Left - Stop - Right selector

The selector can be used to  

activate and deactivate the main spindle

change the turning direction of the spindle

L = Turning direction: Left

R = Turning direction: Right

0 = Deactivate spindle

Spindle brake

The spindle brake is located on the left-hand side of the spindle head. It is used to brake the
spindle.

When the spindle brake is activated, the spindle slows down immediately.

The more the lever is activated, the more the spindle slows down.

4.16

Drill depth stop

The drill depth can be set using the set nut.

Turn the set nut till the required drill depth is aligned with the depth scale.

The spindle can now only be lowered to the set depth.
