Turning the spindle head-holder
You can turn the spindle head-holder 90°.
Proceed as follows:
Loosen the clamping screws (4 pieces).
Turn the spindle head carrier to the required position.
Fasten the clamping screws.

Adjusting the spindle speed
There are three ways of adjusting the speed of the spindle:
via the pulleys of the intermediate gear
on the gear switch
by fine adjustment of the motor speed
The spindle can be set to the following speeds:

Pulleys
The speed of the spindle can be adjusted using the 3 grooves on the pulleys.
If the V-belt is positioned in the upper pulley, the spindle turns at maximum speed.
When the V-belt is in the bottom pulley, the spindle turns at minimum speed.
In order to move the belt from one pulley to another you will need to
switch off the main switch of the machine and ensure that it cannot be switched on again.
remove the protective pulley cover located on the spindle head.
loosen the two motor tightening levers (Img.4-12:Spindle head),
move the motor with the aid of the handle until the belts are loose,
place the belt in the required groove,
move the motor back so that the belt is tight again,
re-tighten the two motor tightening levers.
ATTENTION!
Check the tension in the V-belt.
The tension in the V-belt is correct if you can push it approximately 5 mm with your
finger.
Imperatively reassemble protective covers.
