The specifications listed in this Appendix are correct at the time of going to press. Certain items (particularly processor types/
speeds and CD/DVD device types) may be changed, delayed or updated due to the manufacturer's release schedule. Check
with your service center for details.

Changing Processors

If you change or upgrade CPUs, note that the system information will retain the information on the CPU installed when the
operating system was installed.

If you want the system information to reflect the actual CPU then go to the

control panel (

) and select

Device Manager

. Click the “

” symbol next to

Processors

and right-click the CPU name and

select

Uninstall > OK

. Click

Yes

to restart the computer and the correct cpu name will now be displayed.
