Specifications and Part Names

Section 6-2

Line Disconnection Detection (Analog Inputs)

If the input signal drops to below 0.8 V or 3.2 mA, respectively, when the input
range is set to either 1 to 5 V or 4 to 20 mA, a disconnection of the input line is
detected and the line disconnection detection function is activated. When a
line disconnection is detected, the conversion data will be 8,000. The time for
the line disconnection to be detected, and the time required to clear the error,
is the same as the conversion time. When the input returns to a value within
the range that can be converted, the line disconnection status is automatically
cleared, and normal conversion data is resumed.
