20.Introduction to Troubleshooting

How to deal with malfunctions 

Use the following procedure when a malfunction or error occurs.
(1) Remove the AI sensor unit and the cuff from the patient.
(2) Turn off and unplug the power cord from the outlet.
(3) Display “Out of Order, Do Not Use” on this device, and stop using the device.
(4) Contact OMRON.

The HEM-9000AI will identify several operator or user errors.
As the display screen notifies users of errors, the errors will be categorized on screen as blood 
pressure measurement errors or AI errors.
Blood pressure measurement errors and AI errors are separately listed in Error List. (Refer to 
Section 21.)
