18.3. How to Change the Measurement Settings
Blood pressure measurements, AI measurements, AI + blood pressure measurements and results
printouts can be changed.
1.
Press the F5 key to enter the [SET UP] screen. (Refer to Section 18.2.)
2.
Move the [
] cursor to [METHOD] under the [MENU]
column and press the SET or [
] button. Move the [
]
cursor to [SETTING LIST] column. [Fig. 1]

To change the [METHOD] under [BP
MEASUREMENT]:
1. Move the [
] cursor to [METHOD]. [Fig. 2]
[SINGLE], [AVERAGE - 2 TIMES], [AVERAGE - 3
TIMES], and [CHECK] will appear as options under
[SETTING VALUE] column.
2. Press the SET or [
] button to move the [
] cursor to
[SETTING VALUE] column. [Fig. 3]
3. Move the [
] cursor to the desired setting value,
selecting from the options [SINGLE], [AVERAGE - 2
TIMES], or [AVERAGE - 3 TIMES] under [SETTING
VALUE].
The default setting is [SINGLE].
Select [CHECK] as the setting value to calibrate the pressure.
(Refer to Section 19.)
4. Press the SET button to accept the setting value.
5. Press the F1 key [EXIT] to return to the default screen.

To change the [AVERAGE - INITIAL TIME] under [BP
MEASUREMENT]: [Fig. 4]
When selecting Average - 2 times or Average - 3 times, it is
possible to set a delay period between the time when the
START button is pressed and the blood pressure is
measured.
1. Move the [
] cursor to [AVERAGE - INITIAL TIME].
2. Press the SET or [
] button to move the [
] cursor to
[SETTING VALUE].
3. Move the [
] cursor to the desired delay period,
selecting from [0 min], [3 min], [5 min] or [10 min]. [Fig. 5]
The default setting is [0 min].
4. Press the SET button to accept the set value.
5. Press the F1 key [EXIT] to return to the default screen.
