VIDEO SYSTEM OTV-SI
•
Do not use this instrument in a location exposed to strong
electromagnetic radiation (for example, in the vicinity of a
microwave therapeutic device, short-wave therapeutic
device, MRI, wireless set, cellular/ portable phone, etc.). This
may impair the performance of this instrument.
•
Do not touch the connector of the videoscope, camera head,
light guide cable or plug, or the output connector of this
instrument, immediately after disconnecting the endoscope
from this instrument because they are extremely hot.
Operator or patient injury can result.
•
Do not replace the lamp immediately after video system is
turned OFF, because it is extremely hot. Operator injury can
result.
•
During illumination, do not look directly into the distal end of
the videoscope or the output connector of this instrument.
Eye injury may result.
•
Do not bring the distal end of a videoscope, fiberscope, rigid
endoscope or light guide cable in contact with a human body
or a flammable object such as an operating room drape.
Otherwise, the light may cause injury to operator or patient or
burn the flammable object.
•
Prevent foreign matter from getting into the output connector.
Otherwise, fire or equipment failure may result.
•
If the lamp burns out during a procedure, move the lamp
selection lever to select the other lamp (lamp B or A) and
continue the operation. Replace the lamp after completing
the procedure following the instructions given in Section 6.2,
