3.4.5 CHECKING THE OIL LEVEL IN THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT (only on machine 106 4x4)

The machine 106 4x4 is supplied with a bled hydraulic circuit and with an equalisation tank with the prescribed amount
of oil. The oil level in the tank may decline during transport. The equalisation tank is located under the hood at the
steering column
► Make sure the oil level is between the recommended high and low levels indicated on the surge tank. Replenish to the required
level of oil if necessary.
Wipe clean the area around the tank opening and the tank opening itself. Also regularly clean the entire tank, because any dirt in the
oil reduces the lifespan of the oil filter and may possibly cause a malfunction.
3.4.6 BLEEDING AIR FROM THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT (only on machine 106 4x4)
The hydraulic system is fully bled during the fi rst couple of hours of driving the machine – we recommend that you "run the machine
in" with a mild load for 1 to 2 hours. In the event that during the initial "run in" the character of the hydrophone sound changes, then
the front axle may be aerated. Air may be bled by loosening the plug on the left and right side of the front axle. When oil starts to
fl ow
continuously, retighten the plug.
3.4.7 CHECKING THE TIGHTNESS OF THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT (only on machine 106 4x4)
Visually check the hydraulic circuit for oil leaks, namely the locations where fi ttings are connected to the transmissions. If you discover
any leaks, inform your service centre.
