Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly

3.3.03 Space Belt Tension

General Information

The space belt tension adjustment should be performed when the following parts are replaced.

Space Belt (3.2.06)

Space Motor Assembly (3.2.22)

Procedure

1. Slightly loosen the screw of the idle pulley.

DO NOT remove the screw.

2. Manually slide the carriage assembly back and forth across the entire length of the platen.

3. Tighten the screw.
