4.2.2.5 Removing MPCBA

(1) Turn the scanner unit upside down.
(2) Pull up the stays L and R

(note that, when the stays are pulled up, there is reaction).

(3) Remove the six screws(black)

and then the MPCBA-cover

(4) Turning the shield-USB

in the direction of the arrow, remove it.

(5) Remove the four screws(black)

and then the top shield Assembly

(6) Disconnect all the connectors to remove the MPCBA board

Stay_L

Place an object under the reversed ADF to stabilize the ADF.
