Solution
The control system does not start
the pump.
Check the measured values and
setpoints.
Shut-off valves are in the fill
position.
Check that the fill and bleed
valves are closed and the valve
between them is open.
The system is in manual control
mode.
In the Maintenance menu, disable
manual control, or restart the heat
pump.
The brine pump motor circuit
protection breaker has tripped.
Reset the MPCB, and check the
MPCB’s settings from electrical
diagrams.
Air in the brine circuit.
Bleed the brine circuit.
Leak in the refrigerant circuit.
Contact the installer or dealer.
The compressor only runs for
a short while after which the
evaporator pressure switch is
tripped.
The fluid level in the brine circuit’s
fill bottle drops suddenly after the
system has been started.
A leak in the equipment
(accompanied by a strong smell of
ethanol), or either a leak or air in
the brine circuit.
Check the condition of the
following:
● Fill and bleed unit valves
● Deaerator
● Shaft seal for the brine pump
● Brine circuit unions (If
possible)
Bleed the circuit of air.
Short-circuit in the compressor. A
phase is missing.
Check the electrical connections.
Motor protection circuit breakers
are tripped during start.
Tripped or blown fuse or fuses in
the building’s distribution board.
Check the fuses and replace if
necessary.
