5. Maintenance
5.1. Annual maintenance
Heat pumps containing more than 3000 g of refrigerant must be annually checked and
maintained by a professional service provider.
Annual maintenance includes cleaning, and if necessary replacing, the circuit filters. In
addition, all circulation pumps, actuators and sensors are checked.
Each time an annual maintenance is performed, the service provider must fill a form
in the maintenance sheets (delivered with the heat pump), as well as add a sticker
informing about the next required annual maintenance. The sticker should be located in
a visible place of the heat pump.
5.2. Cleaning the brine circuit filter
Switch off electricity before performing any maintenance work.
Open the filter carefully, as there is fluid in the pipe.
1. Switch off the heat pump using the main power switch
Q1
.
2. Shut the filter isolation valves.
3. Open the filter cover.
4. Remove the filter element and clean it by rinsing with water.
5. Place the filter element back.
6. Fill the filter space with brine.
7. Close the filter cover.
8. Open the filter isolation valves.
9. Switch the heat pump back on using the main power switch
Q1
.
