Read carefully the commissioning instructions given in the next
chapter and plan the commissioning phases and timetables for
the site before starting the actual commissioning. Especially note
that before starting the heatpump’s compressors, you have to
preheat them at least 6 hours.
Before commissioning, check that both shut-off valves of the
dryer-filters inside the heat pump are open.
Do not start any circulation pumps before the circuits have been
filled. Otherwise pump shaft seal gets damaged.
3.3. Commissioning the system
In the following, the main commissioning phases and steps are listed but the details of
each phase has to be separately planned in relation to the other building projects.
1. Filling, venting and pressurising the ground circuit.
● Ensure the cleanness of the ground circuit before filling it.
● Fill the ground circuit with mixture of ethanol and water, which contains 28
percentage by weight ethanol . The frost durability must be at least of -17 °C.
● Vent the ground circuit carefully and pressurise it. Recommended
overpressure is 1 – 1.5 bar.
2. Filling, venting and pressurising the condenser and desuperheater circuits.
● Ensure the cleanness of the circuits before filling them.
● Vent the circuits carefully and pressurise them. Recommended overpressure
is 0.5 – 1.5 bar.
3. Start preheating the compressors’ surface sumps.
Before first start-up of the compressors, the compressors’ surface sumps have
to be preheated.
● Check that compressors’ circuit breakers
F1
and
F2
are set to 0.
● Switch on heat pump’s main electrical switch Q1 .
● Switch on the heat pump’s control system by setting the circuit breaker
F10
to 1. This starts the OCS-device which controls the heating.
Continue preheating at least 6 hours before starting the
compressors (step 6 below).
