APPENDIX C

SERVICE TOOL

The Software Service Tool (Part Number 83032124) is required when a main PC Board is replaced in
a Explorer

balance. It is used to re-configure the balance to its original parameters in the case of a

PCB replacement. The tool can also be used to communicate with the balance using commands that
are listed at the end of the appendix.

The latest software service tool and support files are available on the Ohaus DMX site.

Please read the Service Tool Instruction Manual (Part Number 30032352) which is also available on
Ohaus DMX site.
