The high position of the lower plate is detected by the sensor

The low position of the lower plate is detected by the micro-switch

 which stops the electrical

motor when it is pressed by the bar

 integral with the lower plate.

Measurement of the plates temperature

The measurement of the plates temperature is done by two thermocouples

, one for each

plate. The thermostats

, depending on the difference between measured temperature and set

temperature, turn on or off the resistors set on the plates.
