How to fill special paper

Introduction

If you fill the paper trays with special (oriented) paper types, you have to define 
these types in the 'Paper manager' (oriented

1

 paper types are special front, 

transparencies, special 1, 2, 3). 

1

 Oriented paper indicates that the front and the back of a paper type are 

different.

You do not always have to define the paper type in the 'Paper manager'. When 
you use tab sheets or inserts, you can use the buttons in the paper compartment 
to indicate that the paper trays contain tab sheets or inserts. In this case, the 
'System manager' and the 'Paper manager' display icons behind the paper tray 
indicators. 

The general rules fill special paper types.

■

Put the paper face down into the paper tray (side to be printed first must be 
down).

■

The top of the page (sheet) must be toward the front of the Océ VarioPrint 
2105.

■

Holes for punched paper to the left. (see illustration below)

Inserts

Put the paper for inserts into the upper paper tray.
Press the 'insert' button to inform the system about the fact that you loaded 
inserts. Use the 'insert' button, when you do not want the system to print on the 
paper in this tray.

Do not use the 'insert' button when the Océ VarioPrint 2105 prints. 

Tab sheets

Put tab sheets with the tab to the right into the middle paper tray (you need 
reverse ordered tab sheets).

Use the 'Tab sheet' button when you use tab sheets. This prevents the tab sheets 
from being duplexed (2-sided). It also enables you to print information onto the 
tab.
