How to fill and refill the paper tray

Introduction

The difference between fill and refill is the following. 

■

Refill indicates that you put the same paper type into the paper tray as the 
paper type in use. 

■

Fill indicates that you put a different paper type into the paper tray. You have 
to define new settings in the 'Paper manager'.

You can refill the paper trays during a print job. When you press the 'Down' 
button of the used paper tray, the Océ VarioPrint 2105 turns to another paper 
tray with the same type of paper. You can (re)fill paper while the print process 
continues. 

Important

Remember the following. 

■

Make sure that the paper that you refill has the same weight, color and 
special front setting.

■

A change in the type of paper can cause start or run-time contradictions for 
the jobs in the job queue.

■

You can not refill a paper tray in the top position. Move the tray down first.

■

There are 2 methods to change the definition of the paper tray in the'Paper 
manager'. You can change the paper type when the paper tray is still in top 
position, it is not necessary to lower the tray to enable adjustment of the 
paper tray definition. You can also change the paper type in the 'Paper 
manager' after you lower the paper tray.

The paper settings of the jobs in the job queue are checked when you put a 
different paper type into the paper trays (select another paper tray in the 'Paper 
manager' or quit the 'Paper manager'). 

If the current job needs another paper type than the paper in the paper trays or 
a paper tray gets empty, a start or run-time contradiction will be reported (both 
in the job queue and in the job queue manager). The contradiction message
