For
TFTN285-399
models the Siphon is shipped loose inside the boiler cabinet and must be connected to the bottom of the
boiler as described below and in Figure 6-2:
1.
Inspect Siphon
to ensure all parts were shipped with the assembly. The Siphon must be periodically disassembled and
cleaned as part of a regular maintenance plan.
2.
Attach Corrugated Outlet Tube
–
remove the Outlet Retaining Nut and Outlet Gasket from the Siphon and slide them
onto the Corrugated Outlet Tube, maintaining the same orientation (Note: gasket should be positioned approximately
1/8” from the edge of the outlet tube –
see Figure 6-2). Press the Corrugated Outlet Tube into the Siphon outlet
connection and firmly hand-tighten the Outlet Retaining Nut.
3.
Connect Siphon to Boiler
–
ensure the Ball-float is placed inside the Siphon, position the Inlet Gasket between the Siphon
and boiler, then firmly hand-tighten the Inlet Retaining Nut to secure the Siphon in place.
