6.7. Archiving records
To archive recording select button. There are two methods for downloading records
which are selectable in DOWNLOAD TYPE selector. TIME mode combines recordings into one file
from the available recordings specified in the PARAMETER fields. After making your selection, se-
lect the DOWNLOAD button. In the opened window, specify the file name and storage path. Select-
ing the SAVE button will start the copying process.
FILE mode allows you to record the whole files stored on the hard disk recorder. To search for files
in FILE mode, use the START TIME, END TIME to select time range and choose channels then press
SEARCH button. As result list of files should be displayed. Select files to archive using left mouse
button while holding down “Ctrl” key. After making selection press DOWNLOAD button. In the dia-
log box, enter the name under which the files will be saved and press SAVE button. At the bottom of
the window you will see a progress bar and after the download is complete, a message about the suc-
cess of the operation.
To playback files recorded on the disk, you can use the OPEN LOCAL RECORD and then select a
file for the playback and open OPEN. The file will be played in a browser window.
Recorded video files (DAV) can be opened on your PC with the NVR-3000 Player available on
www.novuscct.com site.
