5.8. Intelligent image analysis
NVR-3404POE, NVR-3408POE, NVR-3408POE-H2, NVR-3416 have intelligent image analysis
function. It is possible to set face recognition for one video channel or up to two channels for perime-
ter crossing.
NOTE: For NVR-3416 it is not recommend the use of image analysis for more than one channel while
connecting 16 3-megapixel cameras. Doing so may overload the system and may result in unstable
operation of the recorder.
To select the type of image analysis select SYSTEM form MAIN MENU then click on SELEC-
TION icon.
Select FACE to enable face recognition on selected channels. Select PEREMITER to enable perimeter
analysis for selected channels. You can not simultaneously select two types of analysis.
NOTE : For recording face detection or perimeter crossing we advise to use continuous recording.
5.8.1. Face recognition settings
If in SELCTION menu face detection was set for one channel then you can select FACE icon from
MAIN MENU to enter face detection settings.
