4.6. LEADING EDGE (LE) BLADDER REINSTALLATION
1.
Completely deflate the bladder.
2. Remove the HyperFlow hoses from the LE hose fittings and remove the inflation valve from
the base.

Reattach the two pieces of string to each bladder end, then pull the lines to gently re-feed
the bladder back inside the LE. Pull one half of the bladder through fully, then the other. Avoid
twisting the bladder as you feed it through.

Feeling with your hands, locate the leading-edge hose fittings. Once located, pull them back
through the holes in the LE.

Pull the bladder tips out of the LE just enough to expose the strings. Remove the strings and
gently push the bladder back inside, so the ends of the bladder is flush with the end of the
tuck flaps.
6.
Carefully fold over and secure the velcro tuck flaps. Ensure the inner velcro is properly
aligned.
7.
Pull the HyperFlow inflation valve base through the hole in the LE, ensuring that it is correctly
aligned and not rotated. Re-install the lanyard to the inflation valve base.
8. Reattach the HyperFlow hoses to the LE and strut hose fittings, securing with the snap clips.
9. Partially inflate the LE. Check carefully there are no twists or uneven areas in the bladder
before applying full inflation pressure.
10. Open the pinch clamps and inflate the entire wing to confirm the repair has been effective.
