2.2. ATTACHING THE ADJUSTABLE HARNESS LINE
The Adjustable Harness Line is available as an accessory part from your local retailer.
WARNING:
Be aware when using any kind of harness, that the hook can cause damage to the wing, foil,
board, or EVA deck pad.
Installation:
1. Identify the front and rear end of the Adjustable Harness Line. The front end of the line has
various lark’s head knots allowing for the line length to be adjusted according to personal
preference.
2.
Install the front end of the harness line by threading it through the loop on the Forward
Harness Line Attachment Point. Make a loop at the front end of the line and use a lark’s
head connection to secure the line to the desired knot.
3.
Install the rear end of the harness line to the Rear Harness Line Attachment Point using a
lark’s head connection.
2.3. INFLATING THE WING
IMPORTANT: Always inflate your wing using a hand pump with a pressure gauge.
1. Unpack the wing from its bag. Remove the compression strap, and lay the unrolled wing
on a flat surface, free from hard or sharp objects, with the Leading Edge (LE) into the wind
and the strut facing up.
2.
Open Pinch Clamps so air can flow from the LE into the strut. To open, push the end tab
outwards. (The Neoprene Clamp Cover remains in place over the Pinch Clamps)
3.
Attach the Pump leash to the Leash Attachment Loop in the centre of the LE. This
allows handsfree pumping of the wing.
IMPORTANT: Always secure the pump base with your feet while the wing is attached.
